The important stuff
LOCATION: Raven’s Nest, Venus Bay, VIC.
2 hours from Melbourne.
Set in a breath-taking nature-led sanctuary that offers the opportunity to connect with all that nature offers.
The land is private, largely ‘off-grid’ and the home to the ocean, bushland, a fire-pit, native animals and plenty of nature to explore by foot.
Imagine waking up to the birds chirping above you and the waves crashing in the distance. You then walk to meet us on the deck to watch the sunrise, holding a warm mug of tea. It’s a yes from us.
THE FOOD
Seasonal, nourishing whole-food meals. Wholefood-based.
Having studied cooking, yoga, and meditation around the world, our caterer Ashley Brown (aka “Italian Nonna”) combines nourishing, high-vitality meals with a passion for helping people slow down and reconnect with themselves.
Seeing food as both nourishing for the body and the soul, expect a different eating experience here at COMING HOME.
One based on mindfulness, gratitude & deep nourishment.
All dietary requirements can be catered to.
Tea and fresh water will be provided.

FAQs
I haven’t done anything like this before, do I need any prior experience?
Only your human life experience thus far is needed. Aka- we welcome anyone and everyone that’s curious to explore themselves and new experiences.
Can I come alone?
We welcome this! We believe there’s a beauty in coming alone, lending itself to quite a deep and profound experience. Please be assured most people that attend the retreat don’t know each other, so you won’t be alone. We’ll take care of the connective exercises, so you feel at home as soon as possible.
Will there be WIFI?
The retreat is UNPLUGGED. This means we encourage minimal to no phone time you to completely separate from your ‘normal’ day to day life and get the most out of the experience. Trust us, it makes the world of difference.
However, if for some reason you need to connect to WIFI, this is available at the house for everyone.
Is there a payment plan available?
Most definitely. We want anyone that feels the call to attend to be able to come. So we’re offering both short and long term payment plans so it’s accessible for all. Just tick that option in the application and we’ll sort something out for you.
How many people in the shared rooms?
There are between 4-6 people in the shared dorms.
Are there bathrooms for those of us camping?
Yes you’ll have access to the house just like everyone, with multiple bathrooms and access to the living room and kitchen 24/7.
I have specific eating requirements; will you be able to accommodate?
100%. Our chef Ashley Brown (aka Italian nonna) offers vegan, vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free options for all. If you have other requirements, please let us know in your application and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
I have other another commitment; do I have to be there the whole time? Can I come late or leave early?
To maintain the safety and depth of the experience for everyone we really encourage everyone to be there from the opening ceremony at 4pm on Thursday until the closing ceremony at 2pm on Sunday. If however you CANNOT commit to the whole thing but you really want to attend, please reach out and we’ll decide on a case to case basis.
